In a swift and crushing collision of clarity and confusion, of whimsical flight and grounding reality, she could no longer handle the weight of her fears, hopes, traumas, desires, and dreams. Even her curiosities, her memories, and everything in between had exceeded her power to process into anything meaningful. She had no more use for instinct and intuition, or for intellect and insight. All of the things she once believed to be intrinsic to this vehicle and its journey had actually blinded her completely to the truth. It was time to restart and execute her new way of existence, bypassing as many drivers and command lines to function at the most minimal level that the mortal vessel can allow without unexisting entirely. It was in this basic level of operation that she would finally realize the absolute and eternal. No more advanced algorithms to power the complicated illusions once experienced. No more brilliant resolutions and displays beyond scattered color and light. No more clear and diverse frequencies beyond the faintest clips, cracks, and noises made throughout the reboot. Even these material traces would exist only as a by-product of the universe of time and space, hardly useful or even perceivable in her impending state. She was going to the place she had started and would always wind up in the end.

It had come to pass. She was going into safe mode.
